Region of Peel Excess Load Moving Permit
Annual, single or multiple (2+ moves in one week on the same route) permits for insured construction or trucking companies [PEEL].
You need it when: Moving oversize or overweight loads on Peel regional roads.
Why it's needed
- Required under the Highway Traffic Act for loads over legal limits [PEEL].
When to apply
- Single and multiple permits: apply at least 10 business days before the move [PEEL].
- City and MTO roads on the route need their own permits.
